The San Carlo Distillery is the smallest distillery in Italy and produces the real artisan grappa, today one of the few distilleries that uses this old method of discontinuous distillation with double distillation with an alembic Piedmontese bain-marie. By redistilling a second time, they focus naturally aromas and perfumes, the production is limited and varies according to the vintage. With the combination of the distillation method and selected raw material from small producers (farmers) we obtain a genuine. Our products have no aromas standard but vary according to the vintage, in addition to our grappa we do not add anything even the minimum amount of sugar allowed by law. The processing is rigorously crafted from distillation to bottling.
